Berdia S – Scapholunate instability is a complex problem. The anatomy, biomechanics, natural history, diagnosis, and treatment have been extensively studied, and some answers have been found. However, it is still an unsolved problem, and the ideal management is still under debate. The various treatment options are discussed and are based on the class of instability, chronicity, and progression of wrist arthritis.
