Reig E et al. – Findings show the utility over time of spinal cord stimulation (SCS) is comparable with other series of the efficacy of SCS, with overall analgesic efficacy of ~65%; however, therapy had some complications. Most study pts had a diagnosis of peripheral vascular disease (PVD), with excellent therapy results (>90% improvement), suggesting that SCS be considered as a first-line approach to the clinical management of pts with pain and ulcer of PVD.
