Kesimci E et al. - Morphine provided a strong evidence for reduction of postoperative pain and less analgesic consumption after arthroscopic knee surgery. The findings do not encourage the use of neostigmine combined with a long acting opioid analgesic nevertheless; individual intraarticular use of neostigmine does not demonstrate a significant benefit on postoperative pain score and analgesic use.
