Endocyclophotocoagulation is a simple, safe, and effective procedure for achieving IOP lowering in patients who have medically controlled glaucoma and need cataract surgery. ECP is performed following lens removal and IOL implantation by inserting an endolaser unit through the cataract incision, across the anterior segment, and into the posterior chamber on the nasal side of the eye.
