Functional redundancy of R7 RGS proteins in ON-bipolar cell dendrites
Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Science, 10/15/09
Chen F et al. – This data demonstrate the presence of a delayed ERG b–wave in the SG711 mice and a functionally redundant role for RGS11 and RGS7 at the tips of ON–bipolar cell dendrites. This suggests that RGS11 or RGS7 works as the major physiological GAP for G alpha o1 in ON–bipolar cells.
