Rhee DJ et al. – Selective laser trabeculoplasty is an effective means of lowering intraocular pressure in patients with open–angle glaucoma with a low risk of complications. The authors report a case of hyphema noted 3 days after selective laser trabeculoplasty in a 77–year–old woman with primary open–angle glaucoma. Her intermittent use of oral nonsteroidal anti–inflammatory medications and chronic topical nonsteroidal anti–inflammatory use may have been a contributing risk factor.
