Effect of Light Perception on Menarche in Blind Women
Ophthalmic Epidemiology, 09/04/09
Flynn–Evans EE et al. – When authors examined the association between age at onset of NPL and age at menarche, authors found a significant positive association with earlier menarche being associated with an earlier age category of loss of light perception. This findings suggest that lack of light perception affects reproductive development in women.
