Scleral Fixation of Posterior Chamber Intraocular Lens Implant With Ocular Endoscopy: The Finger-Crafted Technique and Embedded Scleral Suture
Techniques in Ophthalmology, 09/02/09
De Carvalho DM et al. – The authors describe a simple and reproducible surgical technique, which allows full view of the scleral fixation of a posterior chamber intraocular lens implant. When using the finger–crafted technique, in addition to having good control of the path of the needle that reaches the ciliary sulcus with precision, the surgeon will be able to use his other hand for instruments, including an endoscope.
