Langmann A et al. - The existing programm is planed to be improved by teaching those who are responsible for early of visual defects detection to enable them to send children to their ophthalmologist in time. Many questions concerning the effectivness of treatment in amblyopia are still open for discussion – much effort has to be untaken to improve the compliance of these patients and their parents.
