The Role of Adaptive Immunity in the Pathogenesis of Candida Albicans Keratitis
Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Science, 04/16/09
Zhang H et al. - A Th1-type adaptive immune response and immunological memory were induced by Candida albicans keratitis, and previous contact with Candida preparation enhanced the resistance of the host to subsequent corneal challenge with the same fungus.
