Patterns of Ganglion Cell Complex and Nerve Fiber Layer Loss in Non-Arteritic Ischemic Optic Neuropathy by Fourier-Domain Optical Coherence Tomography
Investigative Ophthalmology & Visual Science, 06/08/2012Aggarwal D et al.
Nerve fiber layer and ganglion cell complex (GCC) losses correlated well with visual field (VF) losses in both magnitude and location. Hemispheric GCC loss correlated with altitudinal VF loss and this pattern may be of diagnostic value. Fourier–domain optical coherence tomography is useful in the evaluation of non–arteritic ischemic optic neuropathy.
