The effect of prolonged cold ischemia time on estrogen receptor immunohistochemistry in breast cancer
Modern Pathology, 08/21/2012
Li X et al. – No statistically significant association was found between the change of estrogen receptor (ER) staining and the history of neoadjuvant chemotherapy. The findings indicate that prolonged cold ischemia time up to 4h (97% of the cohort) in the practice setting of the institution has minimal clinical impact on ER immunohistochemical expression in breast tumors.
