Membrane-bound estrogen receptor-alpha expression and epidermal growth factor receptor mutation are associated with a poor prognosis in lung adenocarcinoma patients
World Journal of Surgical Oncology, 07/16/2012
Shimizu K et al. – Presence of membranebound estrogen receptor–alpha (mERalpha) expression together with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation was found to be an independent prognostic factor for survival in patients with lung adenocarcinoma, suggesting cross–talk between mERalpha and EGFR mutation.
