Twisted gastrulation expression in cholangiocellular and hepatocellular carcinoma
Journal of Clinical Pathology, 06/08/2012
Exclusive author commentary
Johnston J et al. – Twisted gastrulation (TWSG1) is expressed in both malignant epithelial carcinomas, although the level of expression is higher in cholangiocellular carcinoma (CCA) than in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and seems to correlate at least partially with BMP4 expression.
