Stockham AL et al. – Standard MRI techniques do not reliably discriminate between tumor progression and radiation necrosis (RN) after treatment with stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) for brain metastases. Additional imaging modalities are warranted to aid in distinguishing between these diagnoses.
