Li S et al. – Although a good agreement was observed between core needle biopsy (CNB) and excisional biopsy (EB) for both estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR), the authors still suggest that negative hormone receptors (HR) testing results should be interpreted with caution or repeated on EB.
