Differentiation of autoimmune pancreatitis with pancreatic carcinoma remains a challenge to physicians

GONG PL et al. – Although some recent advances have been made in helping the diagnosis of autoimmune pancreatitis (AIP), the differentiation of AIP with pancreatic carcinoma is still a challenge. In clinical practice, it must be reminded to exclude AIP before making the diagnosis of pancreatic carcinoma.
