This course is primarily geared toward gastroenterologists and oncologists in the academic and community settings who care for patients either at risk for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) or have been diagnosed with HCC. The incidence of HCC is increasing and new treatment options are more readily available. It is a challenge for practitioners to keep up to date with the most recent innovations in the diagnosis and treatment of HCC. This course will provide a clinically based review of all the most recent advances in the management of HCC. The faculty includes hepatologists, oncologists, surgeons, radiation therapists and radiologists, a reflection of the multidisciplinary approach needed for the appropriate treatment of these patients.
