The continuing deluge of new clinical data on novel cancer therapies, molecular diagnostics tests, and emerging treatment approaches makes it difficult for practicing oncologists to stay current and up-to date on the rationale behind these advances. This intensive six-day activity is designed to provide a comprehensive review for practitioners of the clinical, molecular, and pathophysiologic basis for the diagnosis and treatment of neoplastic diseases and benign hematologic disorders. Primary emphasis will be placed upon the broad area of medical management. Recent advances in molecular genetics, clinical pharmacology, epidemiology, and supportive care will be stressed.
