Ameratunga D et al. – Oocyte donation in both premature ovarian failure and physiological menopause is highly successful and cumulative pregnancy rate is an important statistic which can be used to inform women seeking this technique. High rates of complications, in conjunction with individual risk–factor analysis needs to be considered when counselling post–menopausal women about oocyte donation.
