Implanon users are less likely to be satisfied with their contraception after 6 months than IUD users

Wong RC et al. – IUD users reported a higher level of satisfaction than did Implanon users at 6 months. Side effects in women using IUDs and Implanon are common. The range of likely side effects should be included in counseling women about long–term reversible contraception.
