Fletcher JJ et al. – No overall association between ethnicity and intensive care unit (ICU) admission was observed in this community. ICU utilization alone does not likely explain ethnic differences in survival following stroke between Mexican–Americans (MAs) and non–hispanic whites (NHWs).
