The topics covered include: the construct of anxiety and its disorders in this age group; epidemiology, including prevalence, incidence, course, outlook, and risk factors; assessment scales; co–morbidity and differential diagnosis (depression, dementia, physical illness); and management, both pharmacological and non–pharmacological.
