Cunningham MA et al. – Postoperative atrial fibrillation continues to be a common complication after cardiac surgery. Bronchodilator treatment with either albuterol or levalbuterol did not precipitate postoperative atrial fibrillation (POAF), unless both agents were given to the same patients postoperatively.
