We are seeking experienced OR Circulating Nurses for a Fulltime Day Shift! Must have at least 2 years experience.

Must have following requirements:

•Registered Nurse in the State of Texas

•ACLS and/or PALS certification desirable

•National certification such as Certified Nursing in Operating Room (CNOR) is desirable

Will provide care to those patients undergoing surgical or other invasive care which requires physician oversight. It is expected that staff either scrub, circulate or both as case and volume needs arise. Services represented include ENT, General and Vascular surgery, OB/GYN, GU, Orthopedics, Dental/Maxillofacial, Neurosurgical, Podiatric and Plastic Reconstructive.

The surgical nurse will work well with anesthesia by providing assistance as needed while also maintaining control and organization of the surgical suite. Competencies include but are not limited to sterilization techniques, assessment skills, and technological skills, ability to care for infants to geriatrics and to respond to emergencies as they arise.
