We are seeking a Nurse Manager - OR. Must have RN Virginia License, BSN and several years of OR Clinical and Management experience with demonstrated success in communicating ideas, change and growth to staff, patients, families and physicians. Must be able to motivate and energize OR staff, oversee staff development, promote positive communication and encourage creative thinking and development.

OR - 15 Rooms with one Cysto Room

Services Include: Cardiac, Thoracic, General/Vascular, Orthopedics, Neurology, Plastics, EENT, OB/GYN

Reporting to the Nurse Director of the OR, the Nurse Manager will have clinical managers and service line managers reporting to them . Must have General surgery experience; Open Heart is highly desired as this is the preponderance of the surgery performed in this facility. Leadership is emphasized along with an ability to manage staff and patient needs. Director seeks a decision maker who can function independently and run with the high expectations of the department. Demonstrated fiscal responsibility while addressing the needs of patients and staff, ability to constructively problem solve and to positively lead others are keys to qualifying for this position.
