Branch duct intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (BD-IPMN) is an increasing entity that physicians find on CT scan. The big question is what to do with these lesions. This study addresses whether monitoring these lesions according to the consensus guidelines recommended by the International Association of Pancreatology is a reasonable strategy in comparison to surgery or doing nothing.
