Heterogeneity of Health Profiles of Older People Presenting to an Accident and Emergency Department With a Fall
International Journal of Gerontology, 10/12/09
Yeung P–Y et al. – Older people presenting with falls at the A&E have multiple health problems and varying degrees of frailty. A homogeneous management pathway may not be appropriate, but rather, the approach should be in the context of management of the frailty syndrome, requiring an individualized approach and taking into account the heterogeneity of their health profile.
