Anderson KL – This article describes the setting, nature of outbreaks, control efforts, and impact of the resident–directed care philosophy on outbreak management at a senior residential community that experienced norovirus outbreaks during the past 2 winters. Suggestions are made for infection control programs in resident–directed care settings.
