Weston MJ – Behaviors and actions that foster innovation are complementary to those associated with managing and facilitating nurse satisfaction. These include creating an organizational climate that encourages the generation, sharing, and implementation of new ideas; managing with the skills to hire and retain competent and creative individuals; and establishing the infrastructure and processes to recognize and embed best and promising practices into the organization. The ability to innovate and to manage and facilitate nurse satisfaction is a necessary competency for organizational success.
