Smyth D – Online education, or e–learning, has seen exponential expansion over the past decade, as institutes of education recognize the learning potential and value, and possible marketing opportunities of being able to impart instruction and information in a web–based world. Podcasts represent an excellent way of conveying content from a course or conference and stimulating enquiry. Over the next few months Web words will explore the internet for scholarly podcasts relating to palliative care.
