Russell B et al. – Contact lenses were worn successfully with relatively few adverse events by a cohort of infants with unilateral aphakia. The visual acuity results were identical independent of the contact lens material or modality. Rigid gas permeable lenses needed replacement more often than silicone elastomer lenses.
