Nicotine & Tobacco Research, 05/10/2012Radwan G et al.
Cigarette smokers levels of 4–(methylnitrosamino)–1–(3–pyridyl)–1–butanol (NNAL) were higher than waterpipe smokers (WPS) levels in males. Exposure to tobacco smoke was evident in wives of both cigarette smokers and WPS. Among WPS, NNAL tended to increase with increasing numbers of hagars smoked/day.
