The Society for Airway Management (SAM) is comprised of a multidisciplinary group of physicians (Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Otolaryngology, Critical Care, and Pulmonology) as well as CRNAs, paramedics and nurses. This course has been developed to feature international experts in the various fields of medicine dealing with airway management. Many aspects of difficult airway management, in a variety of clinical settings, are highlighted during this course. This course will consist of large group didactic lecture sessions, small group round table discussion sessions, Hands-On Workshops and Patient Simulator sessions, and Professor Poster Rounds. There is also an Abstract and Scientific Exhibit session with oral presentations of six selected abstracts from the most recent research in Airway Management.
