Nurse Practitioner - Cardiovascular Recovery Unit seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Responsible for coordinating, providing, and assisting in providing comprehensive adult cardiothoracic and vascular post surgical patient care. Provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, referral and follow up as appropriate to age, developmental stages, special needs and health conditions of patients served. Maintains clinical and professional competency, promotes a safe environment and performs all job responsibilities in a safe and professional manner. Functions as a team member to provide 24/7 coverage in a busy, 14 bed cardiovascular recovery unit. Experience with ICU or Cardiovascular Surgery preferred. Bachelor of Science Required. Current North Carolina licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse / Nurse Practitioner and or Physicians Assistant with prescription privileges required. Masters degree required.Additional InformationWeekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.Rotating Shifts may be required.
