American Telemedicine Association
The American Telemedicine Association is a US advocacy group promoting access to medical care for consumers and health professionals via telecommunications technology. ATA seeks to bring together medicine, academic medical centers, technology and telecommunications companies, e-health, medical societies, government and others to overcome barriers to the advancement of telemedicine through the professional, ethical and equitable improvement in health care delivery.

The Telemedicine and E-health Information Service is run by the University of Portsmouth.

Center for Telehealth & E-Health Law (CTeL)
The Center for Telehealth & E-Health Law (CTeL) was created in 1995 as the Center for Telemedicine Law under the vision and leadership of a number of individuals including Dr. Yadin David, Bob Waters, the Mayo Foundation, the Cleveland Clinic, the Midwest Rural Telemedicine Consortium, Texas Children’s Hospital. CTeL's mission is to overcome the legal and regulatory barriers to the utilization of telehealth and related e-health services.
