HPC: Health Literacy Project
The Health Literacy Project (HLP) was started in 1988 to close the communication gap between low income, high risk consumers and their providers. It currently offers consultation services regionally and nationally. HPC has created low-literacy health education materials in English, Spanish, and a selection of Asian languages.
