Kauer–Sant'AM et al. – The co–occurrence of anxiety and bipolar disorder has implications for diagnosis, clinical outcome, treatment and prognosis. Careful screening for co–morbid anxiety symptoms and disorders is warranted when diagnosing and treating patients with bipolar disorder.
