Sinha R et al. – Common iliac artery injury related to acute blunt abdominal trauma is a rare event, especially in the absence of an associated pelvic fracture and can be delayed in presentation. For stable patients without a concomitant intra–abdominal injury requiring laparatomy, endovascular stenting is a valuable treatment option that warrants further prospective evaluation.
