Brown CVR et al. – Unhelmeted motorcyclists sustain more severe injuries and adverse outcomes. Motorcyclists who are intoxicated, uninsured, or passengers are less likely to wear a helmet. Education and prevention strategies should be targeted at these high–risk populations.
