Karakas M et al. - Malassezia globosa was the most commonly isolated species followed by Malassezia furfur and Malassezia slooffiae. Mixed Malassezia species were not isolated. In conclusion, M. globosa was found to be the predominant PV isolate in Adana, Turkey.
