Graft aneurysm complicating an extracranial-intracranial bypass
British Journal of Neurosurgery, 10/01/09
Marcus HJ et al. – The authors report a patient that developed an aneurysm on a grafted saphenous vein following an extracranial–intracranial (EC–IC) bypass. Although saphenous vein graft aneurysms (SVGAs) have been described as a rare complication following coronary surgery, they are unaware of any previously reported cases of SVGAs following EC–IC bypass.
