Seshia SS et al. – In this commentary, the authors briefly discuss their views on some of the limitations in the current terminology and classification of chronic headache. Suggestions for consideration and further debate include the acceptance of chronic daily headache as the umbrella term for this group of headache disorders, a more consistent definition of 'chronic' and the use of a multi–axial classification approach.
