Novel associations with dyspepsia: a community-based study of familial aggregation, sleep dysfunction and somatization
Neurogastroenterology and Motility, 08/26/09
Talley NJ et al. – Diet, including total calories and total protein, carbohydrate and fat intake, was not significantly associated with dyspepsia. Familial aggregation raises the possibility of a genetic component, although environmental factors also need to be considered. Sleep dysfunction and somatization suggest a primary psychological component.
