Trotti LM et al. – A 53–year–old epileptic man had two seizures during polysomnography. Significant sleep apnea followed each. Lower hourly AHIs occurred for the remainder of the study. This suggests that epilepsy can transiently worsen sleep apnea, with implications for treatment.
