Shinohara Y et al. - No specific baseline characteristic resulting in a significant difference between the effects of sarpogrelate and aspirin was identified. Aspirin was superior in most subgroups, except diabetics. Sarpogrelate may be a useful treatment option for Japanese patients with diabetes.
