Carpal tunnel syndrome: Clinical, electrophysiological and ultrasonographic ratio after surgery
Muscle & Nerve, 08/19/2011
Kim JY et al. – Improved symptom scores, decreased CSA, and decreased cross–sectional area(CSA) ratio were observed in the first three weeks, but functional improvement was observed after three weeks postoperatively. Symptoms improved more rapidly than function following surgery. Measurement of the ultrasonographic CSA ratio may provide clinicians with an assessment tool after surgery.
