Pearson WS et al. – The findings support the validity of the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma/Centers for Disease Control and Prevention physiologic criteria in this population and stress the importance of prehospital triage of patients with traumatic brain injury in the hopes of reducing both the morbidity and the mortality resulting from this injury.
