Neurocritical care education during neurology residency

Sheth KN et al. – Despite the expansion of neurocritical care, large proportions of US neurology residents have limited exposure to a neuro–ICU and neurointensivists. Formal training in the principles of neurocritical care may be highly variable. The results of this survey suggest a charge to address the variability of resident education and to develop standardized curricula in neurocritical care for neurology residents.
