Behavioral symptoms in mild cognitive impairment as compared with Alzheimers disease and healthy older adults
International Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry, 05/04/2012
Van der Mussele S et al. – The behavioral profile of Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) patients is characterized as an intermediate state between normal aging and Alzheimer's disease (AD) for the prevalence and severity of certain behavioral symptoms. Follow–up is ongoing to test the hypothesis that behavioral disturbances in MCI predict progression to dementia.
